HEAS — Ericksonian Hypnosis and Somatic Approach for Unconscious Reprogramming is a 9-month professional certification program designed for coaches, psychologists, therapists, and other practitioners who already work with people and seek to develop a rigorous, evidence-informed model of human change rooted in the unconscious mind.The program is built on a central premise drawn from Milton Erickson’s work: it is not necessary to make the unconscious conscious for change to occur, and it is not necessary to review the past or find the cause of a symptom. The orienting question is not “What happened to you?” but “Who do you want to be, how do you want to feel, what do you want to do?” Healing emerges as a consequence of identity transformation — not as the primary goal.Students develop theoretical grounding and applied competency across eight months of live instruction, followed by a dedicated assessment month. Each month includes three theory and practice classes led by the lead instructor, one somatic module class led by a somatic specialist, and one supervised practice session. Curriculum covers the theoretical foundations of hypnosis, induction techniques, the full range of Ericksonian methods.
